A fabulous business in Stevenage is looking for an Events Coordinator on a 9-12-month fixed term contract, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a highly events focussed position, and you will be the key point of contact for all events. There are around 20 shows in the UK/EU this year, some enormous, with many smaller, niche ones going through. You will be organising from scratch, liaising with the team for socials, print and ordering bespoke merchandise.

As Events Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all global exhibitions
- Managing KPIs during exhibitions
- Organising internal events
- Managing and organising all company merchandise
- Working alongside the marketing team, adding value where possible
- Some administrative support
What we are looking for in an Events Coordinator:
- Experience in event organisation/coordination
- Proven track record in a fast-paced environment in-house or within an agency or freelance
- Organised and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge and experience of supporting B2B exhibitions
- Ability to work well in a team but self-motivated and driven
- Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Desirable:
- Experience with CRM management: Salesforce ideally
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Spark
- Experience with internal marketing in a B2B setting
- Some knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering and/or electronics distribution
This is a short-term FTC to cover maternity leave, however, although there are no guarantees, there is every likelihood that this could be extended or even made permanent for the right person as this is a particularly busy team.
