A growing business with an established market presence in the commercial construction/property sector is looking for an Estimator to join the team, delivering estimates for windows & door packages on new build projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive efficiency and shape your own role in this ambitious business. Along with a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including a quarterly bonus, onsite parking and a pension scheme. You will be working Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (flexible).
As Estimator, your core responsibilities will typically include:
- Take-off of architects' drawings for input into estimating software.
- Sending quotation requests to suppliers.
- Project costing.
- Present final quote to Sales Team.
- Attending post tender meetings/answer tender queries post order.
We are looking for an Estimator with the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Relevant experience within the commercial construction sector.
- Technical estimating experience for any of the following: façade, roofing, glazing or cladding products.
- Ability to interpret architects drawings/plans.
- Basic knowledge of 2D CAD software.
- Proficient with Adobe PDF.
- Competent with Microsoft 365.
- Technically adept, naturally detailed, comfortable managing multiple project estimates.
- Strong communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborative team.
Highly Desirable: Specific estimating experience for Windows & Doors on Commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team that will recognise your contribution!
