Join a 97,000 strong global membership organisation focused on the engineering sector, and help develop their membership base through mentoring and relationship-building. Working 3 days per week, hybrid (once a month in Central London).

THE ROLE: Proactively implement initiatives to attract and retain a diverse membership, including technicians and apprentices. Organise and deliver activities to promote membership to new audiences. Offer one-on-one and group guidance to members and non-members on their professional qualification journey, both online and in-person. Build strong relationships with employers, offering advice on professional development and mentoring programs. Strengthen links with colleges and universities to inspire future civil engineers.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, training, or professional development. Professional qualification (EngTech, IEng, or CEng) is desirable, but not essential. Able to engage with diverse audiences, from aspiring engineers to senior industry professionals, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office applications, with the ability to transform technical content into clear, non-technical outputs. Ready to work occasional evenings and travel as required, with a valid driver's license and access to a car (car allowance provided).
