A growing business is looking for a Depot Supervisor to join the team. You will be meeting highly professional standards of distribution and safe operating procedures within the local depot, whilst providing the highest level of customer service. As Depot Supervisor, some of your responsibilities will include: Controlling stock investment and stock availability Ensuring supplies are distributed promptly and efficiently and that all transactions are permissible and within the requirements. Ensuring security of company cash, stock and property. Maintaining internal and external standards for compliance including but not limited to Water and Fire Regulations, Health and Safety Executive, and Ministry of Transport inspections, Working Time Regulations Managing day to day operation of depot including compliance with all legislation (e.g., but not exhaustive – Health & safety at Work Act, Fire Regulations, VOSA) Ensuring all activities comply with storekeeping requirements Monitoring the site to ensure full compliance with company audit procedures. Recruiting, developing, motivating and retailing all team members Taking responsibility for the employee lifecycle for all depot members; Recruitment, induction, training, performance, check ins, appraisals, and any employee issues which may arise Coaching and supporting all depot team and arrange/request/carry out appropriate training interventions as required Maintaining all company property and premises Generating ideas for driving business forward Carrying out any other duties as requested by Regional Supply Manager and National Supply Manager What we’re looking for in a Depot Supervisor: Knowledge of product storage solutions Knowledge of local area and appropriate routes A customer focused approach Communication and influencing skills IT literacy Ability to work as part of self-managed team Stock management skills Knowledge of transport regulations/ADR Supervisory skills To apply for this role as Depot Supervisor, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
