This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Miller/Setter/Operator to join an engineering company based in Milton Keynes that manufactures high precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics for a variety of industry sectors.
As CNC Miller/Setter/Operator, you will be working:
- Monday-Thursday: 14:00-22:00
- Friday: 13:00-20:00
What we're looking for in a CNC Miller/Setter/Operator:
- Experienced Setter/Operator- Miller across a range of 3 and 5 axis CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
- Knowledge of either Heidenhein, Hurco or Mazatrol controls.
- Good understanding of Engineering drawings and proficient in carrying out in-process dimensional and visual checks using the appropriate measuring equipment.
- Experience in managing a wide range of metals and plastics.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
- Ability to mind multiple machines if required.
- Confident in working with a degree of autonomy.
