A highly innovative and dynamic business that specialises in two key areas: custom projects and the supply of specialist industrial products, is seeking an Administrator to join their team in Troon. They are looking for somebody who is dynamic and driven - this is a fun, family-run business to be a part of and not just another office job. They work hard but have a nice company culture. The company are flexible around working hours; full or part time available. Working around the school run is something that could be accommodated!
Please note, this is not a 100% desk-based role, you would be involved in multiple aspects of company life, although primarily admin. You may need to be involved in operational areas of the business as and when required, such as warehouse functions like physically receiving deliveries/inbound goods, packing goods and also driving a company vehicle to deliver to local companies.
As Administrator you will:
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
- Book in/out stock and receive deliveries.
- Manage and organise files, documents, and records to ensure easy retrieval.
- Utilise Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Xero, Tidy Stock and Pleo for various administrative functions.
- Drive company vehicles on occasion to deliver local orders/samples.
We are looking for an Administrator with the following:
- Proficiency in office administration with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred. Training will be provided for other software utilised in house, such as: Xero, Pleo, Tidy Stock.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a commercial office/warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fully competent in using standard office equipment (computers, printers, etc.).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- A full (clean) UK driving licence as the successful candidate will be required to occasionally drive company vehicles.
In return the Administrator will receive a salary of £12.60 per hour plus yearly bonus and free onsite parking.
