Are you passionate about delivering engineering-quality excellence and ready to shape a brand-new HSQE function? This HSQE Manager role offers the rare opportunity to build and lead a department from scratch across two sites, with full autonomy, direct client contact, and the authority to influence strategic quality and safety standards.
Along with a salary of £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus, you will also receive:
- Discretionary profit-related bonus

What you’ll be doing as HSQE Manager:
- Leading Health, Safety, Quality and Environment strategy across two engineering sites
- Championing engineering-quality excellence across manufacturing operations
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
- Driving continuous improvement and a zero-defect culture
- Using HSQE data to identify risks, improvements, and actionable trends
- Supporting client quality assurance requirements and attending audits and client meetings
- Introducing digital tools to modernise quality reporting and traceability
What we’re looking for in a HSQE Manager:
- Proven HSQE and Quality Management experience within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Experience in continuous improvement, auditing, and root cause analysis
- Ability to confidently engage directly with clients
- Degree or relevant professional qualification
