What you’ll be doing as Trade Plate Driver:
- You will be collecting and delivering vehicles from dealerships, auction houses, and private addresses across the UK.
- Completing full and accurate collection and delivery appraisals documenting any and all damage / the general condition of the vehicle you are transporting.
- Utilising the appraisal app and other third-party apps.
- You will typically deliver your first vehicle of the day between 08:00-09:00 to ensure your schedule is on track for the rest of the day.
- You will be collecting and delivering vehicles all over the UK so a willingness and passion for short and long-distance driving is essential.
What you need to be a Trade Plate Driver:
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, have no DR, DD or IN offences on your licence.
- To be over the age of 30 for insurance purposes.
- A good understanding of the UK road and public transportation systems.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills representing the business with integrity and pride at all times.
- The ability to plan routes by hitching, driving, on foot and using public transport is essential as all drivers are expected to make their own way between jobs.
- The ability to accommodate early starts and late finishes, and drive for extended periods of time safely.
- Good knowledge of the UK's road and public transport networks is also essential; however, you will be supported by your planning/liaison team at all times, and you will be utilising apps such as maps, Trainline etc. to support your day-to-day travel.
