The overall aim of the role is to be the point of contact for dealers, providing technical product support. Duties include:

Proactively working with both dealers and sales staff to enhance customer loyalty by providing service support on farm and at the dealership

Preparing and delivering technical and warranty training to individuals and groups on the whole range of products

Recording and managing technical issues for further analysis

Promoting the use of our technology products to dealers and provide training as required

Undertaking machinery installations with dealers if required

Building customer relationships for long term benefit and raising the profile of the company brand

Attending exhibitions and shows on the stand and representing the company with a professional image at all times

Administering and processing GB warranty and policy claims

Good standard of education and relevant qualifications

Apprenticeship in agricultural engineering or time served experience

Demonstrable experience of performing service repairs in a similar sector

Good diagnostic ability

Ability to train and coach dealer service staff in how to repair and maintain products following approved technical procedures

Technical knowledge of agricultural machines

Experience with precision farming practices to include Autosteer, ISOBUS and telemetry

Skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to repair agricultural equipment

Excellent communication skills

IT computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint

Customer service skills and ability to relate to customers over the phone and in person
