As an Order Administrator at HG Walter, you’ll be right at the heart of how we keep London’s best kitchens and home cooks supplied with exceptional British meat. We’re an independent, family-run butcher with a reputation built on provenance, welfare and flavour. This role matters because when orders run smoothly and enquiries are handled properly, our reputation stays exactly where it belongs — at the top.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as an Order Administrator:
- Accurately inputting and processing daily orders to ensure timely fulfilment
- Handling inbound calls and emails, providing clear information and resolving queries
- Monitoring order progress and following up to keep everything on track
- Organising credits and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
- Assisting with administration tasks that keep the office and revenue function running smoothly
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc operational duties as required
What you’ll bring to the table as Order Administrator:
- Previous experience handling high volumes of orders and enquiries
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong telephone and written communication skills
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A genuine passion for food, cooking and eating out, with an interest in quality produce and product knowledge
Working hours: 9am–5pm, five days per week, including some Saturdays.
