Our client is an established lighting/electrical manufacturer. hiring an experienced Product & Portfolio Manager to represent the LED Luminaires, Controls, EV charging and Solar product portfolio in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking and trend scouting for UK market needs
- Handle a range of professional lighting products for the UK market, decide on what products to develop, enhance, or discontinue
- Create a plan for launching new products from concept to reality, working with marketing teams on promotional materials and sales training
- Be a key stakeholder within cross-functional development and the product sourcing team
- Make sure the products are profitable and contribute positively to the company's earnings
Requirements
- 5 years + experience in a product management or similar role within the lighting industry, such as project management
- Degree educated in a technical engineering or economic field, or similar education
- Knowledge of the competitive lighting landscape, understanding of the various applications and project types within the market sector
- Ability to use excel proficiently to convey and present data
