Our client is an infrastructure and construction business that delivers major projects across water, energy, transport, and utilities. They're looking to bring on a Quantity Surveyor within Critical Infrastructure applications to strengthen their commercial team.
Requirements
β’ Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on critical infrastructure projects such as water treatment, energy generation, transport networks, or utilities.
β’ Strong knowledge of NEC, IChemE, or similar forms of contract commonly used in the infrastructure sector.
β’ Demonstrable experience managing costs on projects valued at ΓΒ£10m or above.
β’ Excellent skills in cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final account settlement.
β’ Ability to prepare and assess contract variations, claims, and interim applications.
β’ Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and manage risk effectively.
β’ Membership of RICS (MRICS) or working towards chartership is highly desirable.
β’ Proficiency in industry-standard cost management software and Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
β’ A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
