Our client is a globally recognised leader in the Lighting Manufacturing market sector, with operations in over 25 countries and a team of more than 2500 employees. The high quality product portfolio includes indoor and outdoor lighting as well as IoT controls solutions for major commercial, healthcare, education, retail and industrial lighting projects.
We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to strengthen relationships with M&E consultants, lighting designers, main contractors, and specialist electrical contractors across the London area - a key revenue region for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing opportunities within your territory, acting as the primary contact for customer orders and project enquiries.
- Building a strong and consistent pipeline by identifying new projects and generating qualified leads across the defined route to market.
- Presenting the company’s solutions, responding to client enquiries, and managing the sales process through to negotiation, invoicing, and project close.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated lighting design, technical, and logistics team, with direct reporting to the National Sales Manager. The company also offers access to structured internal training programmes, designed to support career development across multiple pathways, including sales, design, engineering, and management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within commercial lighting technical sales (5 years plus).
- Proven experience working with the route to market.
- Experience hitting multi-million pound targets.
- Specification expertise within the lighting industry.
- Ability to use CRM systems effectively and monitor tickets from start to finish.
- Ability to travel into London in the form of a car allowance.
