The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure deliveries take place smoothly and ensure the highest standard of service is delivered when transporting products to customers.
This is a part-time vacancy, and you will be required to work 20 hours per week.
Salary: £27,400.00 pro rata per annum
We are looking for applicants who have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and people skills
- An ability to organise and multi-task
- Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel, Dynamics AX
- Attention to detail
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A good standard of spoken English
Responsibilities of the role:
- Prepare relevant documentation for the dispatch of orders
- Count and process collected money from driver’s routes in a safe manner
- Collect and provide accurate amounts of money in accordance with payment terms, and invoice adjustments from drivers
- Report discrepancies immediately
- Deal with day-to-day driver/helper queries
- Liaise with other departments with day-to-day transport issues
- Ensure drivers are following routes according to company rules and procedures
