Are you a commercially minded e-commerce specialist who loves data, CRO and finding new ways to make a website work harder?
The Role
We’re working with a fast-growing D2C brand to appoint an E-Commerce Manager. Reporting to the Director of Growth, you’ll own the online trading strategy and every part of the website experience, from first click to checkout and beyond. As the business expands internationally, you’ll also take on P&L responsibility across new European territories.
The business has a genuine start-up culture. Teams are small and collaborative, everyone is hands-on, and people are happy to flex across the wider business when it’s needed. There’s plenty of strategic planning and thinking in the role, but you’ll be right in the detail day to day.
Key Responsibilities
Trading & Commercial Performance
- Own the e-commerce trading calendar, coordinating launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns
- Take P&L ownership across the UK site and upcoming European territories
- Track and report on revenue, conversion rate, AOV, sessions and retention, and turn the data into clear actions
Conversion Rate Optimisation
- Lead a continuous CRO programme, running A/B and multivariate tests across key site flows
- Find and remove friction across the customer journey
- Optimise product pages, collections, merchandising, on-site search and navigation
Site Operations & UX
- Run the Shopify site day to day, keeping it performant, accurate and on-brand
- Brief and deliver UX/UI improvements with design and development
- Own site speed, technical health and SEO performance
Internationalisation
- Lead the build-out of European sites, including localised content, currency, pricing and user experience
- Work with logistics, finance and marketing to make sure international operations run smoothly
Marketing Integration
- Work closely with performance marketing, CRM and brand to keep the on-site experience aligned with campaigns
- Feed site performance data back into channel strategy to improve marketing ROI
About You
- 3+ years in an e-commerce management role, ideally with a D2C brand
- Strong Shopify experience (essential)
- Experience with analytics tools such as GA4
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Experience with CRO, merchandising and online promotions
- Strong project management and organisational skills
International or multi-territory e-commerce experience would be advantageous.
