Role Overview
We are seeking a Treasury Transformation Analyst to support and enhance treasury operations across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on automation, process improvement, treasury technology, and AI-driven efficiencies.
This role is ideal for someone who combines treasury operations knowledge with technical and analytical capabilities, including experience with automation tools, programming languages, and AI applications.
The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising treasury processes, improving controls, and supporting strategic treasury initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury Operations & Payments
- Process urgent and manual payments across the EMEA region.
- Support AP/AR/HR/Accounting teams with payment and receipt-related inquiries.
- Process payroll and tax payments across the EMEA region.
- Manage AP payments, employee expense reimbursements, and customer refunds.
- Ensure timely resolution and follow-up of treasury-related operational issues.
- Cash Management & Reporting
- Maintain daily cash position reporting within Kyriba.
- Prepare monthly cash, FX, and investment reporting packages.
- Maintain monthly yield reporting across all bank and investment accounts.
- Support liquidity monitoring and treasury forecasting activities.
- FX & Hedging Activities
- Prepare monthly FX hedge exposure analysis for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow hedging programs.
- Execute FX spot transactions and monitor automated FX deal accounts.
- Maintain FX hedge P&L and mark-to-market reporting.
- Assist with hedge execution planning and exposure management activities.
- Banking Administration & Controls
- Coordinate bank account openings for new legal entities.
- Manage annual KYC refresh processes for existing bank accounts.
- Administer bank access and user entitlement controls.
- Maintain FBAR reporting and related documentation.
- Treasury Transformation & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate treasury, reporting, and payment processes.
- Support treasury system enhancements, integrations, and Kyriba optimisation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data analysis.
- Partner with Finance and Technology teams on digital transformation initiatives.
- Governance & Compliance
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Maintain treasury process documentation and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and banking requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Must have strong proficiency using AI tools and technologies in a business environment.
- Experience with process automation, workflow optimisation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, Power Shell, or similar.
- Experience in treasury operations, cash management, or corporate finance.
- Understanding of FX operations, cash management, and banking processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hedge accounting concepts and treasury reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with treasury systems, preferably Kyriba.
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, or workflow automation platforms.
- Experience in multinational or multi-currency treasury environments.
- Treasury qualification (ACT or equivalent) or progress toward certification.
