Spire Clare Park Hospital is seeking an experienced Mammography Radiographer to join its bank staffing team. The hospital provides a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by state-of-the-art imaging facilities.
As a Bank Mammography Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and high-quality Mammography services. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, producing accurate diagnostic images, and contributing to excellent clinical outcomes while working as part of a multidisciplinary radiology team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients’ physical and clinical needs across a varied and complex imaging caseload.
- Deliver Mammography examinations in line with professional, ethical and departmental standards.
- Communicate complex, sensitive and occasionally contentious information clearly and compassionately to patients and colleagues.
- Apply advanced imaging technology for diagnosis, monitoring and treatment.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, and radiation protection.
- Support service development, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and actively contribute to infection prevention and control.
