Spire Wellesley Hospital is looking for a Sterile Services Lead to head up our fantastic team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, day shifts. We are pleased to be offering a £3000 joining bonus for direct applications accepted before the 28th February 2026.
Spire Wellesley offers comprehensive private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from across Essex. The Wellesley has 3 Theatres (2 laminar flow) and an endoscopy unit, a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. We have recently completed a Theatre refurbishment to further upgrade our theatre environment and bring cutting-edge technology to our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide the multidisciplinary perioperative team with an exemplary sterile supplies service within the operating theatre suite.
- Lead the TSSU team and operationally manage the service ensuring all department staff work within the accreditation systems.
- Support the Theatre Manager in the overall management of the healthcare environment.
