Spire Claremont in Sheffield has a vacancy for a Charge Nurse/Sister to join our ward leadership team. We provide excellent training opportunities to enable you to develop your skills and progress in your career. This role requires the post holder to work a combination of shift patterns.
Spire Claremont Hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a dedicated Endoscopy Suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. Specialities include Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Spinal surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and coordinate on a daily basis
- Be patient safety focussed, including competence to make safe discharge decisions with our Consultant team
- Troubleshoot and work collaboratively to find solutions
- Support the nursing team, HCAs and Ward Manager
- Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our Consultant team
