Spire Norwich Hospital have an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Radiographer to join our imaging team on a bank/temporary basis. Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To carry out all aspects CT duties within the cross-sectional imaging department to a high professional standard.
  • To perform imaging examinations with a high level of patient care, demonstrating awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients.
  • To perform a wide range of CT examinations.
  • To maintain proficiency in all modalities of X-ray, standing CT, DEXA, and theatre operation specialities.
  • Liaise closely with consultants and colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To ensure that high professional standards are maintained throughout the department, in terms of dress, technical quality and patient care.

  • Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
  • Recent/current experience specialising in CT.
  • Experience of working effectively within a team.
  • Can demonstrate application of sound clinical judgement to a range of complex cases.
  • Worked in an imaging department within the NHS or private sector.
