Spire Leicester Hospital are looking for a Medical Records Administrator to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will support the Medical Records department in providing an efficient and accurate filing, tracking and retrieval service for patient records across the hospital.
The Role
- Tracking and recording the movement of case notes
- Filing, retrieving and preparing patient records for departments and clinics
- Maintaining and updating medical records to agreed standards
- Liaising with wards, departments and off-site storage providers
- Handling patient information in line with GDPR and hospital policies
What We’re Looking For
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Good IT and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles
