This is more than an admin role – it’s about being the go-to expert for our People team, ensuring colleagues and managers receive timely, accurate, and empathetic support across HR, payroll, benefits, compliance, and workforce administration. You’ll lead by example, drive continuous improvement, and help shape the way we deliver People services.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for the team, guiding and supporting on complex queries and sensitive cases.
- Lead daily huddles, coach team members, and deputise for the Team Manager when needed.
- Manage workloads to meet SLAs and quality standards, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Review processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Analyse data, uncover root causes, and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Champion compliance and accuracy across all People processes.
What we’re looking for
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
- At least 2 years’ experience in People/HR administration, ideally in a shared service environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
