Spire Manchester have an exciting opportunity for a driver to work on the flexible staffing bank.
Job Purpose: Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, using technology to map their routes, track their collections and deliveries, making collections and deliveries on time, completing required paperwork, all while providing excellent customer service throughout the working day. Drivers will be appropriately trained in safety and security requirements.
Main duties:
- Collection and delivery of samples on a pre-designated route/schedule, plus responding to occasional ‘on-demand’ requests.
- Prepare the van for operation by inspecting its general condition; checking levels and pressures; cleaning the van exterior and interior; and notifying of any vehicle defects which require action.
- Maintain a safe, confidential operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations.

- Must have worked in a similar role previously.
- Be a reliable self-starter with good personal time management.
- Communicate well with colleagues and customers.
- Focus on excellent customer service.
