Spire Liverpool Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Housekeeper to join our dynamic and experienced Housekeeping team working on an as and when basis to help cover sickness and annual leave in our porter team. Spire Liverpool Hospital is a leading provider of private hospital treatments in the North West of England, with a full multidisciplinary medical team and high-quality accommodation and aftercare.

Working Hours: Various shifts available Monday through Sunday, flexibility required.

Contract Type: Bank/Zero hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean.
  • Work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital.
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.

Qualifications:

  • While no formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and maintain a high standard of personal appearance expected in a professional healthcare environment.
  • Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to establish rapport with all customers.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach.
  • Maintains high standards.
  • Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends.
