Due to a retirement, Spire Cambridge Lea have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Endoscopy Practitioner to join our team on a 30 hour week contract permanently.
Duties and responsibilities
- To provide a high standard of nursing care and support for patients undergoing a range of endoscopic procedures, with emphasis on patient safety and dignity.
- Assist with Endoscopic procedures.
- Liaise with other departments and wards to maintain the smooth running of lists.
- Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care, demonstrating a positive attitude to providing a quality service.
Who we're looking for
- Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in Endoscopy.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current Endoscopy guidelines and standards.
- NMC Registered with no restrictions on practice.
- Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Motivated to perform extended skills - cannulation/venepuncture/IV drug administration.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with different disciplines of healthcare staff, including Consultant users.
