We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Registered Children’s Nurse to join our Children & Young Peoples department on a permanent contract. The role is for 37.5 hours per week covering a mix of early and late shifts Monday - Saturday.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Delivering excellent post-surgical care to paediatric patients
- Assisting in clinics, minor operations and recovery
- Assist in the delivery of family centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
- Promotes best practice in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children
Who we're looking for:
- Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous
- Have an ability to transfer skills through a variety of clinical areas
