Know Your Stuff

This will show that you're not just qualified, but genuinely passionate about providing excellent care.

Showcase Your Experience

Be ready to discuss your previous roles, particularly any experience in surgical settings or recovery. Use specific examples to highlight how you've handled complex situations or sensitive information. This will help demonstrate your capability and confidence in a clinical environment.

Since the role involves delivering family-centred care, think about how you can articulate your approach to involving families in the care process. Share examples of how you've communicated effectively with families and addressed their concerns, as this is crucial in paediatric nursing.

Prepare some insightful questions about the team dynamics, training opportunities, and the hospital's approach to safeguarding. This not only shows your interest in the role but also helps you gauge if the environment aligns with your values and career goals.
