Spire Abergele are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice or similar background. Spire Abergele Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.

Clinic Opening Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 20:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 - 14:30
  • Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies

Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinic or hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
  • Good teamwork ethic
  • Enthusiastic and energetic professional
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care / Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
