Candex is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Content Specialist who will be responsible for creating high-quality, insight-led content that positions Candex as a trusted authority in procurement, finance, and supplier management. This role blends strategic thinking with strong execution turning complex ideas and definitions, customer stories, and executive perspectives into compelling, engaging and publishable content across owned, earned, and platforms.
You will work closely with the core Marketing team, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure Candex's voice is consistent, credible, and influential across markets and growth stages. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys shaping narratives, building thought leadership, and adding creative content that drives trust, visibility, and business outcomes. This role is hybrid, working from our London office 2-3 times a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop original thought leadership articles aligned to industry trends, procurement priorities, and Candex's point of view.
- Translate complex topics into clear, authoritative, and engaging narratives.
- Support executive POV through CEO/COO commentary, bylined articles, and opinion pieces.
- Liaise with procurement, finance, and industry platforms to seed and place Candex content.
- Maintain editorial quality and consistency across all long-form content.
- Create detailed, well-structured customer use cases covering challenge, solution, outcomes, ROI, speed, efficiency, and compliance.
- Turn customer wins into public-facing assets that support credibility and sales enablement.
- Build repeatable templates for case studies to enable efficient content production and repurposing.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, and Sales, along with researched industry published pieces to extract meaningful insights.
- Draft media briefs, backgrounders, and key message documents.
- Prepare executive talking points, soundbites, and quotes for press interactions.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across press releases, media mentions, and announcements.
- Support PR agencies and internal teams with accurate, on-brand content.
- Monitor and track outcomes and articles published.
- Own the research, structure, writing, refinement, or editorial review of whitepapers and reports.
- Produce flagship content around themes such as tail spend, supplier experience, compliance, automation, and Candex's USPs.
- Develop long-form assets that serve as anchor pieces for campaigns, events, and demand‐generation efforts.
- Ensure content is authoritative, data-informed, and aligned with business strategy.
- Create polished post‐event summaries and takeaway documents.
- Develop insight roundups linked to event themes and product narratives.
- Capture key discussions, trends, and customer perspectives into reusable content assets.
- Ensure event content extends value beyond the room.
- Maintain a strong editorial standard and brand voice across all written assets.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing, design, customer success, product marketing, and sales enablement teams.
- Track content themes and ensure alignment with quarterly and annual marketing priorities.
- Support content repurposing across blogs, campaigns, decks, and sales assets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B content marketing, journalism, or editorial roles.
- Strong long‐form writing and editing skills with a proven portfolio of published work.
- Experience writing for enterprise audiences, preferably in procurement, finance, SaaS, or B2B technology.
- Ability to turn complex, technical topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and executives.
- Strong research, structuring, and storytelling capabilities.
- Familiarity with procurement, finance, fintech, or enterprise software ecosystems is a plus.
- Experience supporting PR, media, or executive communications is a plus.
- Experience creating whitepapers, playbooks, or research‐driven content is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast‐growing, cross‐functional environment.
