About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and optimize enterprise-level cloud and network infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining cloud strategy, leading large-scale architectural initiatives, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient technology environments that support the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Strategy & Architecture
- Develop and maintain a future-ready cloud architecture aligned with business needs, security, and best practices.
- Define and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy in collaboration with business and technology teams.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms, services, and tools to enhance performance, optimize cost, and improve overall reliability.
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead the design and deployment of large-scale cloud solutions focused on performance, availability, and security.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams across the SDLC.
- Drive maturity of DevSecOps practices across the organization.
- Infrastructure Management
- Oversee provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and optimization of cloud environments.
- Implement resource allocation, capacity planning, and cloud cost-optimization strategies.
- Design enterprise network solutions that meet performance, resilience, and security requirements.
- Develop detailed network blueprints and documentation for implementation teams.
- Define network standards, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud teams for end-to-end network performance and security.
- Conduct capacity planning and optimize network components for stability and efficiency.
- Performance, Reliability & Operational Excellence
- Monitor and assess system performance to identify vulnerabilities and improvement areas.
- Enhance reliability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and alignment with global standards.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, values, and ethics.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Internal: Technology divisions and related internal departments across DCT
- External: Key vendors and suppliers, Service providers and consulting firms
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, or Fortinet are advantageous.
