This is a hands-on operations role responsible for bringing structure, visibility, and control to the day-to-day running of a growing ecommerce business.
You will own core operational systems and processes, ensuring that orders, suppliers, inventory, and reporting are accurately tracked and actively managed. This is not a passive support role. You will be expected to take ownership, maintain accuracy, and identify issues before they become problems.
You will work directly with the founder and play a key role in helping the business transition from a fast-moving startup into a more structured, process-driven organisation.

Key ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Be Responsible For
Operational Systems & Workflow OwnershipOwn and maintain the day-to-day operational tracking of orders, suppliers, logistics, and work-in-progress. Ensure all data is accurate, up to date, and clearly structured.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks within operations and take action to resolve them without waiting for instruction.
Maintain clear visibility over supplier status, payments, and operational flow, ensuring nothing is missed or delayed.
Inventory, Stock & Marketplace CoordinationMaintain accurate stock and inventory records across all sales channels, with a particular focus on Amazon.
Monitor stock levels, proactively flag reorder requirements, and coordinate stock movements and deliveries.
Ensure marketplace data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with operational reality.
Reporting, Visibility & Business RhythmBuild and maintain structured Excel-based systems to track sales, operations, and performance.
Produce a weekly operational summary highlighting key metrics, trends, issues, and required actions.
Update and maintain the business scorecard, ensuring data is accurate and useful for decision-making.
Product & Supplier CoordinationTrack and coordinate product development requirements across suppliers, design, compliance, and technical workstreams.
Liaise with suppliers to schedule new orders, and arrange shipping.
Admin, Projects & SupportProvide operational and administrative support across the business, including coordinating trade fairs, travel, meetings, and ad hoc projects.
What We’re Looking ForEssential- Proven ability to build and maintain structured systems (spreadsheets, trackers, or tools) to manage operational workflows
- Comfortable working with operational data and using it to identify issues and drive action
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks or processes, with a track record of following through without close supervision
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple moving parts
- Confident learning and using new systems quickly, with minimal handholding
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility for outcomes

- Experience using Excel or similar tools to manage and analyse data
- Some experience in B2C ecommerce or operations support
