Does the idea of building a lasting relationship through testing data and content to build a relationship with Cancer Research UK’s supporters excite you? Will you help us put the supporter need at the heart of everything and inspire them to join us to beat cancer together? We are looking for a driven Senior Marketing Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager in campaign planning and delivery of best in class communications with our supporters.
  • Drive supporter engagement through delivering high performing email communications.
  • Build loyalty through the delivery of a loyalty communications plan, to time, budget and meeting agreed KPIs, by testing data, creative and challenging results.
  • Manage campaign delivery including buying, target audience, data management and production.
  • Brief designers and develop fundraising materials that align with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Build great relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to help ensure the delivery of effective campaigns.
  • Write & edit copy, collate assets and proof emails and artwork.
  • Ensure that campaigns are aligned, integrated and thoroughly evaluated to support our brand objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience of delivering email communications, including planning, copywriting and build.
  • Experience in managing direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including email, social media, digital advertising, direct mail and SMS, including data planning, selections and processing.
  • Experience working with external agencies and in-house teams to deliver campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and proof reading skills to create engaging supporter communications.
  • Data driven with experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation.
  • Budget management experience, including financial administration.
  • Supplier and relationship management skills to deliver campaigns efficiently and with as much added value as possible.
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritise own workload, meeting deadlines and dealing with changing priorities and deadlines.
