Location & Working Hours: Ryde Shop – Permanent contract – 6pm to 11pm on Sunday only – Closing date 12th July 2026.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including keyholder duties (training provided).
- Support a diverse team of volunteers and the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Create and implement creative ideas to generate new income with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to make customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
- Perform manual handling and physical activity as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Working knowledge of great customer service and experience in a lively, vibrant retail environment.
- Adaptability to changing situations, working effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and ability to create relationships and communicate well.
- Flexibility to cover rota‑based work, balanced with personal life commitments.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
