Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop manager
Department: Trading
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Sundays only, 5 hours
Location: Milngavie Shop

Role overview: We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the shop on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
- Assisting the team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
- Generating new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Providing excellent customer service to make supporters feel welcome.
- Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
- Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
