Retail Store Assistant
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Location: Leeds, Horsforth Shop
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week

We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join our trading team. You’ll be an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, engaging with the community and showcasing our work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
- Working as part of the shop team to meet sales and fundraising targets.
- Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding, and health & safety compliance.
- Building relationships with the community and colleagues.
- Supporting fundraising events.
- Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
- Handling manual tasks and physical activity as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
- Understanding of great customer service.
- Experience in a busy customer service environment.
- Ability to manage workload independently.
- Teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work and personal life.
