Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)
Location: Armagh Shop, Northern Ireland
Hours: Part time – 15 hours per week
Contract: Fixed‑term until 30September2026
Reports to: Shop manager
Pay: £12.71 per hour plus benefits

Responsibilities
- Oversee the running of the shop and take keyholder responsibility.
- Support a diverse team of volunteers and assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Generate creative ideas to help generate new income under guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Use customer‑service skills to make customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
- Perform manual handling and physical activity as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Working knowledge of excellent customer service.
- Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
- Adaptability to changing situations and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Flexibility to cover the store on a rota basis.
- Eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
