Responsibilities
- Process and care for new and donated stock, including rotation, replenishment, pricing, steaming and tagging.
- Assist the store team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Support the training of colleagues and volunteers in stock processing.
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance, security, and health and safety standards are followed.
- Use customer service skills to make customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Perform manual handling and physical activity as required by day‑to‑day duties.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a busy customer‑facing environment.
- Adaptability to changing situations.
- A proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
- Positive approach to building relationships with community members.
- A willingness to work on a rota basis.
- Successful DBS check.
