As our Employee Experience and Inclusion Lead, You\’ll bring a clear, analytical lens to colleague insight, turning signals into prioritised, evidence-based improvements that change how people experience work, to lift performance and help teams do their best work. In a lively, collaborative setting, you\’ll discover something new every day-whether it\’s a fresh way to engage, a new connection, or a talent you never knew you had. What will I be doing? Design the employee experience , inclusion and wellbeing framework -mapping key lifecycle and digital moments to clear standards, accessibility expectations and simple measures of success. Run a dynamic listening model -gathering feedback ethically from multiple sources and responding visibly to what matters most. Create practical tools for managers -partnering with Leadership & Talent to help teams build engagement, inclusion and wellbeing. Turn insights into action -supporting and coordinating action planning across the organisation so changes make a real difference. Champion inclusion and wellbeing -using insights to shape hiring, onboarding, development and performance processes, ensuring fairness and psychological safety. Drive the implementation of the people pillars for our EDI strategy -coordinating activity across HR and preparing clear updates and recommendations. Maintain a joined-up recognition approach -aligning everyday and formal recognition with our values, leadership behaviours and inclusion goals. Enable employee networks -providing oversight and support so they can deliver their purpose in alignment with wider organisational goals. Improve the digital employee experience -reducing friction in key journeys, setting inclusive accessibility requirements, collaborating with technology teams and tracking usage and sentiment to evidence improvement. Safeguard fairness and confidentiality -embedding ethical, inclusive practice in every decision and opportunity. And, of course, you\’ll be committed to our mission to beat cancer sooner -bringing your expertise to help us create a workplace that reflects our values and ambition. What are we looking for? A strong understanding of employee experience and inclusion at work design , including how to map key moments, spot friction points and apply the right tools to improve how people feel at work. Knowledge of behavioural science to shape habits, prompts and feedback that help managers build stronger, more engaged and inclusive teams. Experience designing fair and effective recognition systems , balancing formal and everyday approaches to boost inclusion and impact. Insight into how digital experiences affect people , and the ability to guide decisions that support accessibility, engagement and wellbeing. Proven ability to translate EDI strategy into action , turning inclusion goals into practical changes in policies, processes and everyday management. Understanding of how job design affects wellbeing , using principles such as clarity, autonomy and psychological safety to improve productivity and health. Confidence in facilitating sensitive conversations safely , supporting employee networks and wellbeing discussions with care. Skill in interpreting data and feedback , combining numbers and stories to guide decisions and demonstrate impact. Ability to drive change adoption , establishing new ways of working and demonstrating uptake and outcomes. Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills , including credibility with senior leaders and concise, decision-ready storytelling. A commitment to inclusive practice and accessibility , applying equity and psychological safety consistently across lifecycle and digital moments.
