We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Consumer Insight and Experience Manager (Product / Marketing) to join our team. The role sits within our Marketing, Fundraising and Experience department and will support the Insight Lead and Senior Manager to deliver a programme of primary and secondary research, providing a consumer-focused lens on business problems and bringing external trends and developments to bear at CRUK.
The role will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to ensure that insight findings are fully embedded; commissioning and managing consumer insight and experience projects as required.
What will I be doing?
- Supporting the Insight Lead and Senior Manager to deliver a programme of insight & experience projects
- Carrying out end-to-end market research projects including leading primary research projects and carrying out secondary data analysis
- Commissioning and managing market research agencies and consultants
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and helping them understand their insight requirements and ambitions
- Designing and implementing research programmes to understand the current supporter experience across CRUK's product portfolio
- Monitoring the external and business market to maintain a consumer-focused lens on stakeholders' business problems and research needs.
What skills are you looking for?
- Extensive experience of quantitative and qualitative market research techniques
- Proven experience of agency management, including managing timelines, budgets and processes
- A consumer focused, strategic and analytical mindset
- Outward-looking approach, with ability to bring external trends and developments to bear at CRUK
- Significant experience of data and research synthesis
- A collaborative working style with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ideally, you’ll also be able to demonstrate significant experience of project delivery, strong core market research skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure that insight findings are fully embedded.
What will I gain?
Each and every one of our employees contributes to our progress and is supporting our work to beat cancer. In return, we make sure you are supported by a generous benefits package, a wide range of career and personal development opportunities and high-quality tools, policies and processes to enable you to do your job well.
Our benefits package includes a substantial retirement plan, a generous and flexible leave allowance, discounts on anything from travel to technology, gym membership, and much more. We review pay annually and aim to recognise individual performance and achievements. We don’t forget people have lives outside of work too and so we actively encourage a flexible working culture.
Our work – from funding cutting-edge research to developing public policy – will change the world. It’s exciting to be part of our team.
How do I apply?
We operate an anonymised shortlisting process in our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. CVs are required for all applications; but we won’t be able to view them until we invite you for an interview.
