Responsibilities- Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
- Support a talented and diverse team of volunteers.
- Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Generate creative ideas to help generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Provide customer service to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health & safety.
- Perform a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within day-to-day duties.
- Working knowledge of what makes great customer service.
- Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
- Adaptability in changing situations and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills.
- Flexibility – willingness to work on a rota basis to cover the needs of the business.
- Willingness to undergo a satisfactory basic DBS check.
