What will I be doing?
- Taking responsibility for thecommercialrunning of the homeware department.This includesdisplay and merchandising, stock management and generation,maintainingshop standards, store layout,salesand income.
- Working alongside the superstore management teamto meet agreed targets for donated stock, cash, benchmark gift aid, average selling price, sell through and stock processing.
- Leading by example and providing excellent customer and supporter service.
- Supporting the organisation and delivery of creative fundraising events for your store.
- Deputising for thesuperstore management teambyassumingadditionalresponsibilities includingsupervision of colleagues and volunteers,assistingwith teamtrainingand undertaking keyholder responsibilities whenrequired.
- There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activityrequiredwithin the day-to-day duties of the role.
