Hours: Part time 7.5 hours – Saturday only

Overview
You’ll be acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK. The shop is a community hub where customers meet our people, learn about our brand, and support our mission to beat cancer.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
- Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
- Assisting with maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
- Creating relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
- Supporting fundraising events for the store to meet targets.
- Taking keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
- Performing varied manual handling and physical activities as part of day‑to‑day duties.
Qualifications
- An understanding of what makes great customer service.
- Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
- The ability to manage your own workload and work independently when needed.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility – working on a rota basis while balancing personal life.
