Reports to Shop manager.
Department: Trading.
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: Part time, 10 hours per week.
Location: Lytham Shop.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the running of the shop, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and support a diverse team of volunteers.
- Assist the shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Develop creative ideas to generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Use customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health & safety.
- Perform varied manual handling and physical activity as required in day-to-day duties.
Qualifications
- A working knowledge of what makes great customer service.
- Experience in a lively and vibrant retail environment.
- Adaptability in changing situations, working independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate well.
- Flexibility to cover the store’s needs on a rota basis while balancing personal life.
