Responsibilities
- Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including keyholder responsibilities and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
- Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Generate creative ideas to help generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Use customer‑service skills to make customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
- Perform manual handling and other physical activities as part of day‑to‑day duties.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of what makes great customer service.
- Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
- Adaptability in changing situations, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
