The internal title for this role is Shop Assistant.
Eligibility Requirement: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Cancer Research UK does not offer visa sponsorship.
You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK. Your shop will be a place where your community meets our team, learns about our brand, and sees some of our work.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
- Working as an integral part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
- Assisting with maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
- Building relationships with local community members and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
- Supporting fundraising events for the store to meet fundraising targets.
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of what makes great customer service.
- Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
- Ability to manage workload and work independently when required.
- Capability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- Interest or understanding in fashion.
- Retail experience.
