Job Summary

Retail store assistant – hourly rate of £12.71. Permanent contract, part‑time 28 hours per week in the Trading department at the Corby Superstore. Reports to the shop manager. Closing date: 14th June 23:55.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
  • Work as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
  • Assist with maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health & safety.
  • Create relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
  • Support fundraising events for your store to achieve fundraising targets.
  • Take keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).

Qualifications and Skills

  • An understanding of what makes great customer service.
  • Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work independently when required.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
