JOB SUMMARY
To perform Treasury Operations daily processes, transactions, controls, Internal & External counterparty setup, KYC, Bank Mandates, Regulatory reporting validations and settlements. 4 days office / 1 WFH Salary: £40k circa
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cash & Payments Management
- Ensure all payments are processed successfully and following any errors, resolving issues and completing analysis on how to avoid payment errors in the future.
- Assist with the overall cash management of the Group including intercompany transfers, Debt IPDs and Treasury payments including derivative transactions.
- Dealing with trouble-shooting requests linked to online banking platforms and other systems to ensure a smooth payments process.
- Provide assistance to senior members of the team for cashflow forecasting and modelling.
- Document the operational process and controls for each funding structure.
- Design and implement excel models to streamline payment processes.
- Responsible for the raising of PO’s and managing the relevant reporting process, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner while tracking payments against agreed departmental budgets.
- TMS & Systems Management
- Support with the maintenance and administration of our TMS, banking platforms and ERP system, ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
- Responsible for new user setup and new account onboarding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide necessary support with system enhancements and process improvements.
- Ensure derivative trades are captured in internal system in a timely manner, and resolve any reconciliation issues.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Support Know Your Customer (KYC) requests and documentation requirements.
- Ensure auditor requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Develop comprehensive trackers for Bank Mandates, KYC and Bank Account Management.
- Assist with the preparation of treasury & ad hoc reports as required.
- Controls & Processes
- Contribute to the strengthening of the control environment and drive change through continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Support
- Assist in the coordination of treasury-related projects such as system upgrades, bank account changes, and process improvements.
- Support project documentation including meeting notes, action trackers, and process maps.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, IT, Legal) to gather data and ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Help monitor project timelines and escalate delays or issues to senior team members.
- Contribute to testing and validation of new systems or processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements.
- Mailbox & Documentation Support
- Administer the Treasury mailbox, handling queries and requests effectively.
- Maintain and update key points of contact with external and internal counterparties.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Ideally hold a Bachelor's degree with strong academic results.
- Excellent Excel skills (ideally with experience with Macros/ VBA/PowerBI).
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems as well as ERPs (Property Management/Yardi desirable).
- Strong team-player with excellent interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills and ability to work well with internal stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines.
- Clear oral and written communication skills; ability to work with internal / external partners across different functions and communicate with all levels of management.
- Creative - proven ability to think strategically, and to focus on goals and continuous process improvements, whilst motivating other team-members to ensure delivery.
