About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the General Manager across people, service, standards and daily restaurant operations. You’ll help lead the team on shift, keep service moving, coach people in the moment and make sure Holy Greens feels warm, organised and consistent for both guests and the team. It’s for someone who enjoys being close to the floor, cares about good food and clean standards, and wants to help build a strong opening team from day one.

What you’ll do

  • Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Lead shifts with calm, confidence and clear communication.
  • Coach and support Team Members, Salad Creators, Supervisors and Prep team members.
  • Help create a positive team culture built on trust, feedback and high standards.
  • Keep service flowing during busy periods.
  • Support opening, closing, handover and daily operating routines.
  • Make sure food safety, allergen, health & safety and cleanliness standards are followed consistently.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training as the team grows.
  • Help manage stock, ordering, labour and operational controls.
  • Respond to guest feedback and help create a warm, efficient experience.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a hospitality management, assistant management or strong shift leadership role.
  • Comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced food, hospitality or retail environment.
  • A calm, practical leader who stays useful under pressure.
  • Someone who enjoys coaching people and building confidence in a team.
  • Good communicator with high standards and a hands-on approach.
  • Organised, reliable and able to follow clear processes.
  • Someone who cares about food, service, cleanliness and team culture.

Contract: Permanent.

Salary: £38,000 per year.
