Department: Retail\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_Company: Canary Wharf Management Limited\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_Reporting to: Building Services Manager – Retail\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_**JOB SUMMARY**To undertake general fabric maintenance duties and to assist technical staff as required. 7pm to 7am – on a rotating roster of 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off. Salary: £44,211 + 3% shift allowance.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES*** To carry out general fabric maintenance tasks as instructed.* To complete reactive/planned preventative maintenance tasks in an efficient and timely manner.* To assist with the cleanliness of all plant rooms and mechanical areas.* To assist the Engineering Supervisor with the implementation of inventory management systems.* To be thoroughly familiar and comply with the Company\’s \”Health & Safety\” policy and procedures and to immediately report any hazards or infringements to either the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor.* To action and complete Concepts time sheets on a daily basis in accordance with agreed procedures.* To carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Engineering Supervisor and Management* To carry out monthly stock take and checks.**PERSON SPECIFICATION*** NVQ Level 2 (or Equivalent) in Painting and Decorating or relevant trade qualification.* Demonstrable experience in fabric maintenance.* H&S awareness including COSHH and manual handling* Minimum 3 years commercial or industrial painting and fabric maintenance* Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks to high standards.* Ability to identify and report fabric defects and recommend corrective actions.**HEALTH SAFETY AND WELFARE RESPONSIBILITIES**All staff are required to fulfil their legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions, and to follow all guidance and instructions given in this respect.
