JOB SUMMARY

Financial Accountant for the Build to Sell (BTS) and Hospitality segment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Financial Accountant will support the Build to Sell (BTS) and Hospitality segment, with responsibility for reporting actual results across a portfolio of entities and providing financial information to support the wider business. The BTS segment includes the Group's wholly owned for‐sale assets (One Park Drive, 10 Park Drive and 8 Harbord Square), the Braeburn joint venture (with Building SEVEN completing imminently and sales commencing from 2026), and the operating activities of the Tribe hotel. A new hotel at 1 Charter Street is also expected to begin operations in Spring 2026.

The role will lead the efficient quarterly close process for shareholder reporting and year‐end statutory financial reporting, while delivering high‐quality management information, analysis, and insight. A key responsibility includes the preparation and delivery of the monthly consolidated financial results for the Braeburn joint venture to JV shareholders. PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must be qualified ACA or ACCA. Post qualified industry experience preferred.
  • Must have a strong academic background.
  • Must have strong technical knowledge and understanding of accounting standards; including FRS 102, IFRS and Companies Act requirements for financial statements.
  • Must possess strong general IT skills and be an advanced user of MS Excel.
  • Must be able to take full ownership of tasks from inception to completion, ensuring accountability for the quality and timeliness of work produced.
  • Demonstrate strong problem‐solving skills, approaching challenges with a proactive mindset, identifying effective solutions, and executing strategies to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Must be highly organized with excellent time‐management skills, capable of thriving under pressure, prioritizing tasks, and meeting competing deadlines while effectively managing upwards.
  • Must be able to adapt swiftly and effectively to changing situations, shifting priorities, and new directions in a dynamic and fast‐paced work environment.
